the egg distance is a minimum for that pokemon to hatch, lower egg pokemon can hatch from higher ones but not vice versa, ex. snorlax only from a 10k egg but you can get charmander from a 2, 5, or 10

I hatched a bulbasaur from a 5k egg or 2k cant remember exactly..cause when they hatch they don't specify which egg is hatching at the moment which irritates me but oh well its 2016 and i got to experience one of the most viral mobile game created to date and its FREE !!! That list is accurate. I got a Scyther from mine. Best to save alot of stardust when you know your gonna hatch a 10 km. I also caught a Jinx and Clefable same day. Those of you claiming you caught low tier pokemon in 10 km eggs either be hatching eggs all at once or lying because they dont hatch in 10 km eggs

Had 3 10ks going today and I got another electabuzz, ominite, and hitmonlee. So far 3rd electabuzz on 10k, very stressful.
Are eevees supposed to be rare or something? It just rains eevees here. Im like that other guy only i got like 10 of each and had enough candy to max out all the vaporeons and I still have 100 candy.

The reason Eevees are in 10k eggs is for the evolution. It gives you 25 eggs to evolve it, and you can pick out by naming it(Pyro, Sparky, Aqua, etc.). A vaporeon or flareon are both very good, that's why Eevees are in these eggs.

I have hatched 6× 10k eggs, My first was a Dratini with 23 candy, a Ratatat with 25 candys, an Onix with 20 candys, a Magmar with 16 candys, a Syther with 12 candys,and a fun little Nidoran female with 35 candys.....
Nobody has said anything about at what level in the game they were when incubating the egg...I read somewhere that it matters...So I am being patient...and hope to the timing is right
10k eggs I know I have received 2 Jynx's and Omanyte. But as others have mentioned without knowing exactly which egg is cracking I've probably received at least 1 maybe 2 Evee. It's all good.
I stopped hatching 5km eggs for now because I already have some of them but they're clogging up my inventory because I can't get rid of them. My 10km eggs are kinda disappointing, Jinx 801, Onyx 406 and Hitmonchan 847 and the candies that came with it I already used to powered up. And gyms around my town are lit up with Vaporeons, Gyarados and Snorlax with crazy CPs.
I got a snorlax cp700-something from my 10k, only found one of those eggs so far. Although I did hatch a Porygon from a 5k egg today and I was over the moon

Só far I've hatched 3 10km eggs, and I got Mr mime, evee and a pinsir. I really want a lapras or snorlax but in the 2km I got pikachu and in the 5km a Porygon and a Lickitung. The best I've catch in the wild were a 1240 Arcanine and a 1050ish starmie. GG trainers ;)

The reason you might get starters from 2km eggs is because they come from 2k eggs anyway; not 10km. 305 eggs hatched and I've yet to see the hatched Pokemon deviate from these charts. I've had several friends say they have that experience of a Spearow or Pidgey hatching from a 10km or 5km, but they are probably mistaken. Be sure that you're very skeptical if you think it deviates from the chart, again 305 matching eggs in a row.
IV hatched at least 5 10km eggs got 2 eevee ovulate or whatever kabuto and can't remember other ones but I been wanting a fucking snorlax..fml
Was only about a level 10 when i got my first 10k egg, but got lucky with getting a Lapras that came out with a 769 cp. I have gotten him to a 1200 cp and he kicks butt!
Forgot to say it helps having a pond in my back yard just got my 11th Psyduck and this one had 341cp.

My uncle hatched an 800 something scyther from a 10km I was so jealous cause my best scyther is only a 291 after being powered up, lol. Hopefully I will get something good from my 10km egg, I only have .1 km to go. I'm hoping for a lapras or a snorlax

Hatched a 1370 CP Lapras, then caught a 1150 Snorlax, Hatched an Eevee and evolved to a 1300 Flameon, then caught a 1100 CP Cloyster.
I got 2 10km eggs on the very first day. Hatched them in couple of days. First one was Eevee with 20+ candies and Second was Onix with 20+ candies. But since I was at such low level, both had CP < 50. I'm now at lvl 17 and have not found any 10km egg since. Moreover that Onix is the only Onix I've. So, I'd like to advise that save your 10km eggs till you reach at least lvl 15, so that you'll get those rare ones that too at near 1000 CP. (Meanwhile I'm yet to catch any fancy Snorlax, Lapras, Jynx, Aerodactyl etc. At the moment, my only Pokemon above 1000CP is Slowbro which I've evolved. )
The one and only 10km egg I've hatched gave me a 696cp magmar, I thought it was pretty cool considering I've never scene one before
Well I'm half way done with level 13 so my 10 km should be pretty good, I honestly don't care what I get as long as it has a high CP my best is a 611 Vapereon. my uncle probably has Pokemon over 1000 CP by now

Im level 25 an was getting crappy shit from 10s until i leveled up an got a few not on this list i got a 1890 dragonite an just hatched a magmar 1704cp but as a lowet level i had a caterpie out of a 10km so i think level matters also got electabuzz dont remember his cp but it was above 1200 im in texas an i have like 6 vaporeons an flareons all over 2000 due to catching tons of evees with like 710cp just in the wild but still no garyedos or however you spell it i really want him an still no lapras an im at level 25!
Actually getting an Eevee seems not useful but it really is.If u get 25 candy when you hatch it you can evolve it into either a Vaporeon,Flareon or a jolteon.The best ones out of those are the Vaporeon since their cp is pretty high (apparently max is 2816, but i doubt it)The hack to get whichever one you want is to name it The eevee brothers.

My first 10 km egg hatched yesterday and I got a dratini with 25 candies which is enough to evolve to a dragonair so that what I did. I already have 10 jynx so I would be really PO if that's what I hatched lol
Hatched 3 10km eggs. Wasn't as impressed with my jynx as I was with my magmar or lapras. I don't have anymore 10km eggs but I still have my fingers crossed for electabuzz or a dratini with hella candies. All I 5 2km eggs left and hope for squirtle (don't have on yet) or a pikachu or charmander for the candies. Wish ke luck

My 10k egg today hatched my first Lapras. It had a horrible CP& the worst moveset possible BUT it came with 51 candies which was very surprising. At least when I finally do get a worthwhile one I will have a decent amount of candies to max it out fast.
Sidenote: For any haters, keep in mind all my other 10k eggs so far have been useless Jynx.
Almost all of my 2k eggs have been Zubats, Rattatas, or Pidgeys. The only good hatches I've gotten out of them is a Jigglypuff and a Clefairy.
As for my 10k eggs, 3/7 of them have been Eevees. This makes me think that there's a bias towards pokemon that are common around the pokestop the egg was obtained.
I've had two 10km eggs so far. The first one was an Aerodactyl, and the second was an Electabuzz. Now I'm just hoping to find more 10km eggs so I can get Mr.Mime, Lapras, Pinsir, and all the others I don't have yet.

List is very accurate. I have gotten Scyther, Hitmonchan, Omanyte and Kabuto from my 4 10k eggs. And my cousin got a Pinsir and Eevee.
I'm level 20 and I've only ever found two 10k eggs (I live in Washington DC). One was a Lapras, the other was a Tentacruel.
I got a caterpie from a 2k. WHY does this pokemon even exist? Was ripping. When there's still so many I haven't got. I'm also level 21
2k and 5k pokemon can hatch from 10k eggs? Then i must have some godsend luck from niantic. Two 10k eggs, gave me 1.7k snorlax 86% IV with hyper beam, and a 1.6k lapras 82% IV

All of the 2k, 5k, and 10k lists have been accurate for me. I've hatched 18 eggs so far.
2 and 5k pokemon DO NOT hatch in 10k eggs. Anyone who says they got one in a 10k is lying or is mistaken. With that said, I'm lvl 25, didn't get a 10k egg until lvl 20, and now I've hatched fourteen 10k eggs (296 totap). I've been extremely ticked with 6 Jynx but also hatched three Snorlax, 1 Lapras, 2 Dratini, 1,Omanyte and 1 Eevee. Jynx is worthless and shouldn't be a pokemon...so many locally too.

I work full time and usually throw exercise in the to do list but I've been out every day now and my city is full of others doing the same. But 10k evees are worth while cause the amount of candy. I'm level 21 and finally hatched 2 10k eggs 1st one was a aerodactyl with a cp over 1,000. I had one already but with a low cp of 600 so that was a nice surprise. My 2nd egg I was over the moon, cuz I was hoping for a snorlax and I got a Lapras with a cp of over 1,600. :) when my niece got a 10k egg she got an evee but she was also level 14, don't know if that makes a difference.

Bunch of liars up in here. You can ONLY hatch what's on this list from 10K eggs. Lower pokemons will NOT hatch in higher eggs. So, not one of you got a pikachu from a 5 or 10K egg. They only come from 2K eggs. Not one of you, nobody anywhere in the world, ever got a Ekans from a 10K egg. They only come in 5K eggs.
Anyone who says lower ones come in higher eggs too is a straight up liar.

You can absolutely hatch a lower tier pokemon in a 10k egg. I've hatched 275 eggs so far and only a handful were the coveted 10k items. I got an Abra in a 10 this morning as a matter of fact. Boo.

I've only hatched two good 10k eggs, 1000+Snorlax was my first, I was pumped & a 1000+ Pinsir which I didn't care for cause it's not as rare, but it was better than the damn Jynx's I kept getting after that in 10k's when they're not that rare around me. I'm halfway through another 10egg & I'm hoping it's something good. I was surprised the Onix are in the 10 eggs because I caught my first one tonight at level 21 & the CP was only 208.

I would be pissed if I got an Eevee in a 10k egg. They're almost as common as pidgeys around me. I can evolve one every other day.

I'd say that they're a lot of people who like to spread BS about getting common Pokémon in the 10k eggs they've hatched. It is disappointing to hatch an evee from a 10k egg since they seem to be quite common. Maybe niantic should change it to a random already evolved evee. Don't knock the 2k eggs too much I've appreciated all the magikarps I've hatched, helps with obtaining those 400 candies ya need to evolve one.

Eevee, a couple of Jynx, scyther, Lapras, omanyte, magmar,electbuzz, all except a snorlax and dratini. I caught both of my snorlax in the wild, both were 2000+ cp. To be exact the 1st was 2099, 2nd was 2112. Even at the lower lvl's the list is accurate.

I live in Hong Kong and have almost complete the Pokedex with the exception of the 5 legionaries that had not been released Tauros and Kangaskhan. I have hatched over 80 5 km eggs but no Tauros and Kangskhan. I understand that Tauros can only be caught in the wild in the US and Kangskhan in Aussie. Is my understanding correct? I also want to hatch a Snorlax from a 10 Km but none so far. All the half a dozen Snorlax I had I caught in the wild with 1 nearly 100% perfection. Is there any way to guarantee to hatch a Snorlax?
I'm a forth of the way thru lvl 26 - my experience with 10k so far- side note we have tons of Wild snorlax, pinser and scyther here for some reason 😑- 2 pinser. Jinx, 2 scyther, an evee 25candy, Magmar, 2 electabuzz, 2 onyx, and I got EXTREMELY lucky and hatched my kabuto on this Halloween candy thing, he came with 56 candies at cp lvl 1202 - instant evolved into kabutops, and 3 snorlax - still trying for this impossible dragonite and Arodactyl- the onyx was kinda sad when I seen its max cp I might add. I've probably hatched close to 100 5k by now or at least it seems and still have yet to get many listed... Frustrating. Although I got my first pikachu out of a 2k...
In Toronto Jinx are everywhere and I hatched - no word of a lie two out of the last three 10 k eggs were. Both had CP less than I have caught at level 26 in recent days. Booooooo.
I get eevees all the time out of the 10km eggs. It's normal :-) it's like roulette when hatching eggs. You can absolutely get a 2km pokemon in a 5 or 10km egg! It's luck of the draw! I have gotten some awesome pokemon like hitmonlee and tangela but also zubats and other common ones. It's the fun of it! But since articuno isn't available yet in the game I'd like to know how you the only person on the planet to have not ONE BUT TWO OF THEM. Did you know using the charts will get your account deleted and no more pokemon for you? I like the game too much to do something so foolish as to cheat and lie to actual players who know your full of shit "anonymous" do us all a favour and stop lieing!
Fyi, yes tooth CAN hatch pokemon on the list in other eggs. I have screen shots to prove it. Especially when only 1 incubator is being used at a time for experiment and testing. So no it's not a lie. It's ignorance on the part of the person saying it can't happen. It does happen! Im a pokemon go addict. I pokemon a few hours a day. So before calling someone a liar do some research. Speaking before researching facts makes you ignorant on the topic. So you should stop talking s***and fact check before being ignorant. I got Jinx twice from 10 kg egg. One about 900 cp, another one around 700 cp.
Eevee needs to be moved to the 5k now. It's been officially announced that it changed. Any coming out of 10k eggs now will be those from before the change.

After 689 hatches, so far, my hatches follow the charts. Thankfully I only got one Eevee out of a 10 km egg. I hope the people are mistaken about low level crap coming out of 10 eggs cause who wants to wait around for a 10km to hatch and get a pidgey? lol. The new color coded system makes it easier to know which egg is hatching.

I pretty much have all the pokemon except for Mr Mime, Kangaskhan, Farfetch'd and the most disappointing since 6 people in my family have it - Porygon. Of course I don't have any legendary ones and have yet to get a gen II.
Curious if when you get the egg is it predetermined it is going to be what it is or is it at the time of hatching? I have 7 eggs cooking and all started prior to Gen II.

i hatched 1300 cp scyther from my 10k egg today. it has the STAB on its moves, but its fast move literally does 3 dmg and its crap. lol

So the updated list on 27th Feb 2017 shows Heracross as a 10k hatch. As I understand it this is a regional pokemon and therefore wouldn't be in eggs. Other than that, the list is accurate...

I have completed he 1st generation except some regional ones. I'm currently on level 34 and I live in downtown Fredericksburg va where there is 100's of pokestops in a few square miles

Hi all!! I am still waiting for a Lapras and Kabutops to complete all available gen 1 pokemon for my region. I am hoping the water event now on will give me one!! As for the hatching chart....I cannot fault it!! Please note that they are programmed like this so if you think you got a different pokemon from the egg listed then check your journal because you are wrong. Also, pokemon do not hatch from other eggs as stated...a 2k pokemon will never ever hatch from a 5 or 10 k egg!!! Eevee changed from 10k to 5k last year (late 2016)
Every time I get a 10k egg, I've been hoping it's a Snorlax or a Dragonite. Been like that since last July. Then, last week I caught a 2500+ Snorlax in the wild. Sweet. Currently sitting on a 10k (0.5k to go)... C'mon Dragonite!!!!
