Mine has blizzard for the charge move
fast move was ice shard and charge was blizzard, but blizzard seems to be glitched. It does 0 damage while attacking, still works while defending.

To corroborate the 4th comment; I believe it's Duluth, Minnesota, by Lake Superior. Caught one at Canal Park. CP1589. Ice beam and frost breath. And as for the last comment, I'm at level 20.

Apparantly Lapras is here in LaPunta, Peru. I am visiting here and was taking a walk by the sea wall. Hundreds of people suddenly passed me running. When I got home I looked up Pokemon in LaPunta - it's Lapras. Crazy!
Have 2 lapras. The lower cp one has perfect IV but the move sucks. The higher cp one has frost breath and blizarrd but the IV only 80%. The higher cp one was from 10km egg
FINALLY got one of my own from a 10 km egg that I obtained from a Pokestop in downtown Chicago if I'm not mistaken. Close to 1700 CP prior to leveling it up and with Frost Breath and Ice Beam moveset. SO happy right now.

raw DPS alone shouldn't be the be-all end-all.
with randomized movesets having zero human influence (until one day niantic realizes this mistake of theirs and somehow adds a solution), i've taken to looking at the advantages of the so-called "imperfect" moveset combinations on my favorites.
dragon pulse can actually prove very useful in a metagame dominated by water types that would otherwise wall a pure ice lapras.
my beloved cp1997 lapras with frost breath/dragon pulse soloed another lapras of a couple 100 or so cp higher that had frost breath/blizzard.
ice/dragon is only completely walled by magneton in a kanto-only environment, and nobody puts those on gym defense...

Hatched a Lapras from a 10k egg, it's CP is 1782 and it has frost breath and blizzard, one of my best Pokémon.
Keep the moves from before and put the new moves that Pokemon can learn as a new section so we can at least know on which ones are known as legacy moves (ones you can't get anymore). Ex. Haunter can no longer learn Shadow Ball but the Generation 1 version has it, Gengar can't learn Shadow Claw as well.
anyone with any ice shard/ice move lapras should consider keeping it.
not only is ice shard a legacy move and nearly matches frost breath's DPS now, it also got an energy gain buff, 12 energy per use.
it seems to be doing wonders for my ice shard/ice beam lapras. i'm basically near rapid-firing ice beams, dragonites seem to drop faster than before...

Me and my girlfriend have 2 2000 lapres each and we can use them to defeat a gym with 10 dragonites. They are great for fighting dragons
I only have one Lapras - got within first week of PoGo launch and it's a Ice Shard/Ice Beam combo - are these any good against dragonite?
