Almost caught one today. It was off the trail somewhere. Named all my pokemon disappointment.
But it's not even released yet. Attention seeking much?
You didn't almost catch one. They don't spawn, and even if one did, they have a 0% capture rate (a fail-safe for the off chance that one manages to spawn)
That attention seeking behaviour makes me sad :(
There have been incidents reported where they have been captured. There is a girl out there with the screenshots of the one she caught at the gym. Niantic released a statement saying it was a glitch and took away their catches.
Got 1 show up as a 5* raidboss on a pokegym today
Two raid battles, one caught. Easy win but had 13 trainers in the first battle and 20 in the second. Lucky to be in Manhattan today. :)

One for two and it has the ideal moveset I wish it was a lil bit stronger
got 1 from 2x raid win with 7 trainers, only 2 trainers caught articuno.
i have 5...hade more from gymRaid but i transfered it...coz it had bad moveset (i.e icy wind) and bad iv....have 3 with Blizzard...and 2 with ice beam with 93% iv....will use charge TM to get blizzard on it :)
I only did one Articuno raid and I was lucky to caugh it. Its IVs are 14/13/14 (91%) and the charge move is Blizzard.
