Confirmed that raticate's can have hyper BEAM for charge moves.
If ratttatta has body slam, raticate will have hyper beam, confirmed.
My rattata had body slam, now rattacate has hyper fang
Raticate can also have Dig, 45 damage, 3 bars
If the rattata has hyperfang it will change into hyper beam.
I have 3 of them so far.
1. Bite for 6 damage and Hyper Beam for 70 damage, one big bar.
2. Bite for 6 damage and Hyper Beam for 70 damage, one big bar.
3. Bite for 6 damage and Dig for 45 damage, 3 bars
I've tested this... All of my hyper fangs have been turning into Dig upon evolution
I was told that the charge attack would only change upon evolution, but keeping the standard attack. This is my first time that this theory has been negated, I evolved my rattata with quick attack and dig with dig being the charge attack. Raticate kept dig, but gained bite and lost quick attack.
My raticate has quick attack (normal) - 10 and dig (ground) - 45
I have a Raticate with dig.
might be a dumb question but shouldt the highest cp possible be here? if not what is it?
After evolving rattata for xp why hold on to more than 1 raticate? Should I transfer extras for more candy?
I had the same question as C Tre....
CTre, Kathryn, my experience is this. If you have tons, sure, transfer them and power up your other Raticates. But don't transfer every single one because you still are going to need string Pokemon for defeating gyms and whatnot. Find a balance. Keep maybe 3-5 really strong Raticates, idk.
I just evolved a rattata with 83cp to raticate with 238cp. Has dig 70 and quick attack 10.
I think the whole pokemon evolution is random but some moves are more popular than the other
I think that if it hatches from an egg than it has a higher probability for that super move. I saw hyper beam on a 730 ratticate and was like wth
I have raticate with bite and hyper beam. But the weight is xl about 26,3. Should I built it?
I have a 10 damage Quick Attack as my base attack... isn't that better than the 6 damage Bite that is listed as the best basic attack?
I get so many Rattata's. When I evolve them I make sure to evolve only the near highest CP with decent/perfect IV's and keep the Raticates that have Bite/Hyperbeam as their movesets. I also replace them if I find much better Raticates that I found/evolved. These aren't the best Pokemon but for 25 candies along being able to evolve them for cheap, it's not such a bad deal to keep a few around. Same with Pidgeots.
Kind of funny how quick attack is actually ridiculously slow for a fast attack in this game, and it's even called QUICK attack! It should take half the time for cool down than it currently does. Quick attack: once every 1.33 seconds, brutal!
I have one that is Bite 6 and Dig 70, but for 3 bars, 210 total. Pretty viscious.
Raticate can be useful as good fighter for beginner players, but it quickly gets outclassed by many other evolutions. Raticates and Pidgeots make a team taht will survive... but I recommend saving your stardust and not powering these guys up. Because of how easy it is to get lots of Raticates and Pidgeots, you can use them for one time use - if you lack revives or potions.
Hyper beam can be punishing... and Dig can fight electric... but Raticate is not a strong pokemon compared to the Eeveelutions.
