I caught one in a Walmart parking lot at about 180 CP.
Found in a fitness park in Ormond Beach, FL. Water Gun - 10, Hydro Pump - 60

bite and flash cannon seem kind of sweet. It would make for a sweet gym match up. The opponent would be planning for water moves and get blind sighted.
My Blastoise also Bite & Flash Cannon. The Wartortle before has Ice Beam as its special attack. I want to have Blastoise with Water Gun and Hydro Pump. Anybody has any idea from which Wartortle should I evolve?
Randal1231 here (not logged in), my Wartortle had Bite and and Ice Beam. I have another lined up with water gun and hydro pump. I need one more squirtle, so Ill let you know what the outcome of that is.
Turned out moves are random. Bite and Icebeam. Right now I'm 0/2 on a water based blastoise...we need an item to fix moves asap.

I'm starting to think that bite is in favor over water gun, as many people have multiple vaporeons that fill the water/water gap.
This is one of the worst parts of the game - Blastoise takes ages to evolve and then the best you can hope for is a pair of attacks you already have in abundance. Unless you live in an area devoid of Eevees, getting a Blastoise is a non-event.
IV 93%, moveset water gun & hydro pump ... beat my blastoise !
96% Bite and Ice Beam, not bad good against flying and dragon types with ice beam so i'm happy :)
I caught my blastoise when I was a level 4. I didon't know what it was and I caught it with a CP of 33. It was my fourth day and it took me forever to catch it.
Only 54IV but it nows hydropump and 1890CP, good?
I hatched a Squirtle and evolved it finding out it has perfect CP afterwards xPP it has Water Gun and Hydro Pump ^u^
From the looks of it, Blastoise can't really have a bad moveset. The ideal moveset would be the worst imo even though it is still amazing, but Vaporeon has it covered and then some, and because flash cannon and ice beam are both powerful and have their uses. I would say that anything your Blastoise ends up with can be very useful. Personally mine has Water Gun and Ice Beam, but after seeing flash cannons stats, I kind of wish I got that, oh well maybe next time! I am a little surprised by the low HP on him.
Krystian, did you ever end up evolving the wartortle with water gun and aqua jet? If so, did it give you a Blastoise with Hydro pump?
The movesets are randomized upon evolution. Linking previous movesets to future evolutions' is just superstition.
My warturtle had bite and hydropump turn into a blast with bite and flash cannon -_-
I evolved 6 squirtles to blastoise and everyone ended up with hydro cannon... wtf!
cp1281 bite/hydro pump, wonder IV score, evolved on the night of xmas day 2016. it'll be referred to as my xmas blastoise.
2nd attempt - the 1st was cursed with a non-stab bite/flash cannon set.
all 3 of the kanto starters can be found in my town, but squirtle is the most common of them. bulbasaur and charmander tend to alternate between the middle ground and rarest, but venusaur was the last of the fully evolved starters for me to obtain.
I finally evolved Blastoise. I got bite and hydro pump. I know hydro pump is its best move, but so many other common pokemon have this move. Glad I got bite, it's good to have something non-water.
I just evolved my 812 CP Warturtle which had water gun and aqua jet and my Blastoise has water gun and flags cannon

Why is Blastoise so terrible? I mean Tentacruel is better overall than Blastoise!
blastoise is defense-oriented, and those types of pkmn get the short end of the stick in GO since attack carries the most weight in a pkmn's CP ceiling.
but blastoise's fortune will change on the day mega evolution comes to GO. it's predicted to have a max CP of 3137 @ lv.30 (that is if gamepress' list is using the current formula), a smidge higher than vaporeon.
i got 1 blastoise bite/hpump to lv.30 and have 2 more waiting, wgun/hpump and wgun/fcannon. won't need wgun/ice beam as i have that on a golduck anyway.
