My Tentacruel has Blizzard (Ice) as it's power attack.
I think Tentacruel is more worth it than Gyarados. All its special attack are 60. Mine has Acid & Hydro Pump.
Mine has poison jab and Hydro pump but im not sure if it worth the stardusk to lvl it up...
STAB on Hydro Pump is WRONG since fast moves are both poison.
Consequently ideal moves are Poison jab/Sludge wave
STAB is Same Type Attack Bonus, Tentacruel is Water/Poison type pokemon so it gets a STAB bonus for Poison and Water type moves. So STAB on Hydro Pump is correct. Although I will agree that Sludgewave is better because I would only want to use Tentacruel in a situation where his moves deal Super Effective damage (against fairy) since his attack stat is so low.
I caught a wild tentacrule. It is good, but it has acid and Hydropump. I want to keep it and name it Squidward, but I'm not sure if it is worth keeping over Vapeorion. What do you think?
My Tentacruel has Poison Jab and Blizzard. His IV's are 88 and he just crushes. As he is my most effective attacker for gyms I keep him leveled to max.
