During a recent gym battle, my Rhydon used Stone Edge against a Jolteon and it brought up the "Super Effective!" message. Is this a bug or something? Rock is definitely not super effective against Electric.
are u crazy?
rock move set is super effective against electric type pokemon.
electric move set is not very effective against rock type pokemon.
obviously u dont know why the earth(ground/rock) is used in grounding system.
its a bug probably, no anonymous number 2, eletric has no weakness or anything against rock, it has against ground, but against rock is totally neutral both sides
@anonymous no. 2 Don't jump to conclusions and be a judgemental little snob it'll only make you look a hundred times more idiotic if you're just making wild guesses in your little mind.
Rhydon is ground type, and gets STAB if using Stone Edge. Hence super effective.
Super effective doesn't work based on STAB. It is purely type advantage.
Maybe next time you should search up Pokémon type effectiveness before you come in here acting like a total idiot.
