Starmie can also learn quick attack as its fast move
and my charge move is psybeam so idk if that makes me cool or not
Mine knows power gym which negates the whole purpose of having it tbh 989cp wasted
I evolved my ~500cp Staryu into a 1202cp Starmie. Thanks to quick attack, which is in no way quick at all, my Starmie is completely worthless.
Starmie has WaterGun as fast move which is largely better than all his charge moves... Absurd in my opinion
Is there no way to have a water move as his charge move?
My starmie has hydro pump with a power of 90
I just evolved my 500+ Staryu and got Tackle for 12, Hydro Pump for 90 as a move set. Is this good?
My starmie has tackle as its fast move? lol luckily i got a max iv one with hydropump :)
One of my Starmie's has psybeam, haven't seen one with psychic yet... is this an error?
Got a psybeam as well over here, 13.2 dps with stab so this is the worst charge move you can have
The comments on here are laughable
Got Water Gun as fast and Psyhic as charge
Starmie 1113 cp watergun / phychic not bad 😂
Just evolved an 82 IV, 700+CP staryu - to a 1760 starmie. Haven't seen one that high yet, It got water gun and power gem. wish it had hydro pump.
Starmie Watergun is better than Slowbro, Vaporeon, Golduck and Blastoise? Since the others listed as #9 and Starmie as #4
I evolved one so far and ended up with tackle and power gem...
better luck next time i guess.
My starmie has hydro pump and water gun, near perfect ivs, and a cp of 1600. woohoo
Found a wild 864cp Starmie with water gun and 55 psychic this morning. Used it to battle 2x Electabuzz 1000+cp in friendly gyms. Won both easily with hardly a scratch (77% left). How is this possible? Electabuzz should kick starmie's butt.
Just evolved one, it has hidden power 15
Got a Starmie with Hidden Power. It's a poison move with 15 power
I evolved my staryou in to starmie. It is a wonder and got the moveset hidden power 15 attack and it's an electric move and hydro pump 130 power. It's class.
The best move pool is actually Hidden power (water or psychic) #2 is HP(WATER)+ PSYCHIC( I HAVE THIS MOVESET) OR HP(PSYCHIC)WITH HYDROPUMP
My starmie has hidden power(flying) as a fast move and hydropomp as a charge is that good or not?
one can get a myriad of starmie here as staryu are everywhere.
my best is a 91% cp1302 water gun/hydro pump. i treat those as an attacker-centric vaporeon as they have the highest attack stat among anything that can get water gun/hydro pump.
but tonight, i happened upon a 86% cp303 starmie with hidden power psychic/hydro pump derived from a wild staryu. this set is significantly rare, and definitely better than the other possible dual stab set of water gun/psychic.
stab hidden power has the exact same DPS and EPS as water gun. the only issue would be dodge difficulty as hidden power has 3x water gun's cooldown.
most moveset rating lists do not take account the random type that hidden power can take on and just rate sets with it as if it were a normal type move.
My Starmie has hydro pump and ELECTRIC hidden power! Lol
I got Starmie that has the Hidden Power (Fire) 15 pts.
Perhaps the Hidden Power will random type (can be Fire, Water, Elec, Flying, ...)
Do you think so?
true to its main series game counterpart, hidden power can be any type other than fairy and normal. it appears that the hidden power type is determined in GO by another factor, instead of IVs as the main series games does it - porygon and togepi were observed to change hidden power type when they are evolved and end up rolling the move again on their evolutions.
i've found myself trying to get an assortment of differently typed hidden power/hydro pump starmie. i currently have psychic, fighting, steel, and dragon.
