Revive is the act of restoring a Pokémon whom has lost all HP. When a Pokémon Faints it will need to be Revived. While Potions cannot be used to restore the HP of Fainted Pokémon, Max Revives can.Trainers that have been defeated in Gym battles will usually see the HP of their fallen Pokemon completely depleted. These Pokémon need to be Revived and restored back to full HP before battling again.
Tip: Pick your battles wisely or switch out your Pokemon to avoid having to Revive them. Standard Potions are cheaper and more common than Max Revives!
