almost caught one when i first got the game but it poofed. i weep
My cloister has a 90 damage hydro pump.... Is that normal?
Energy for Ice Shard is now 12 FYI.
Icy shard :'(
All the moves are good tbh
Generally attacks that are weaker, but that can be used faster successively, are better when attacking a gym. However the reverse is true, where slower but stronger primary attacks are better at defending. Honestly, other than Icy Wind, any combination of the above moves are pretty useful. Dewgong should, on paper, be a pretty good gym defender.
oops, I meant Cloyster
I have a Cloyster 528cp that knows Ice Shard and Blizzard but its IV stats are crappy, below 50%, then I have another I just evolved that is 1188cp at 93% IV, but has Ice Shard and Icy Wind :( Is the one that knows Blizzard the better one because of the move? If someone can reply, thanks, Ill transfer whichever is worse, or both.
Generally you'd want to keep pokemon with ideal movesets but bad IVs over those with great IVs but bad movesets. In your case, however, the Cloyster with good moves has considerably lower CP than the one with bad moves. If you have the candy/dust to power up the lower one, do so. If not, hang on to both, and wait until you have enough candy to make an evolve/power up decision.
I've searched for months for a shellder and finally got one from an egg. Perfect IVs and all. I haven't found any other shellder since so I walked with it to get the 50 candies I needed. And in the end my Cloyster has ICY WIND! ='(
My favorite counter-Dragonite pokemon =) Frost breath + Blizzard shred any dragonite
Just evolved one of these. a decent level Ice Shard/Hydro Pump.
I have a 89% shelder with ATK 15 DEF 10 AND STA 15. Would you recommend looking for a DEF 15? Or evolve this?
Hi,
I just caught a Cloyster with Avalanche special move..
Blizzard w/ STAB: 41.9 is wrong. Correctly is it 52.4 and its best move for that pokemon.
